Mobil 1 is a brand of synthetic motor oil made by ExxonMobil — it is not a type of service. Both of MOMS's oil-change options are full synthetic. The difference is the oil itself: Mobil 1 is ExxonMobil's flagship formula, built around its own additive package for wear protection, heat resistance, sludge control, and cold-start flow.

Mobil 1 does not mean thicker or thinner oil. Whatever your car calls for — 0W-16, 0W-20, 5W-30, or something else — MOMS matches that viscosity and specification whether you pick standard Full Synthetic or Mobil 1. The grade stays the same. The oil brand changes.
